Forum der Bundeskunsthalle Bonn

The natural self-confidence of the Creole identity, which combines all the cultural and linguistic elements of the original and immigrant populations, symbolizes a very valuable cultural heritage. Diversity which has been lived for centuries in some parts of the world will surely become a cultural enrichment in other parts of the world in the future, including Europe.

The opening of the festival presents two of the most
popular creole performers from Cape Verde and Guinea-
Bissau Lucibela and Karyna Gomes. In the last few years,
they belong to the greatest voice of her country and
their concerts in West Africa and Portugal have always
sold out.
